The Bush Camp  accommodates 32 guest and 8 children in custom made tent like structures. The Mushara Bush Camp offers a down-to-earth tented bush camp experience which is well suited as an exceptional affordable base for independent travelers and families exploring the magical Etosha Pan National Park.

The main Bush Camp House is thatched and has a true bush camp feel to it. The early evenings see a camp fire lit where guest can exchange stories of the day’s wildlife sightings.

Dinner, lunch and breakfast are served on the thatched verandah with the bush being a mere step away. The Mushara Bush Camp is your optimal family destination on the doorstep to the magical Etosha National Park.

THE TENTS
Each of the 16 custom made en-suite tents is built from a combination of canvas, wood and local limestone. With their own 8msq private verandah and roof to floor windows, these tents are spacious and airy. The large bathroom has an oversized window and shower looking into the surrounding bush. The brushed cement floors and stone walls keep the tents cool from the afternoon sun.

Four of these tents are ideally suited for families with small children as they have a sleeper couch sleeping two children each.

The tents are very comfortable and airy. A coffee station, safe deposit box, mosquito net, hair drier and floor fan are standard.

Whether you enjoy the privacy of your veranda or the comfort of your tent, the tranquility of the bush is ever present.

ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Etosha National Park is one of Southern Africa’s finest and most important Game Reserves, which was declared a National Park in 1907. The park covers an area of 22 270 km² and is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species and one species of fish.

A San legend, depicting the formation of the Etosha Pan tells of how a village was raised and everyone but the women slaughtered. One woman was so distraught about the death of her family she cried until her tears formed a massive lake. When the lake dried up nothing was left apart from a huge white pan.

On our game drives guests experience a fascinating perspective of wildlife in Etosha.

Our vehicles have an all wheater safety design for the wet and dry season- they offer a 360 degree open-air unobstructed view - optimal height for visibility in spacious and comfortable atmosphere - up-to-date game movement information and thereby a high success rate in game spotting.

Mushara Bush Camp Namibia

Namibia is one of those dreamlike places that make you question whether something so visually orgasmic could actually exist. Time and space are less defined here. Landscapes collide. Experiences pile up. Watch a lion stalking its prey on a never-ending plain in Etosha. Fly down a giant dune on a sandboard. Spend a night alone in the desert under a sky so thick with stars you can’t differentiate between constellations.
