The 72-roomed Victoria Falls Safari Lodge merges with its natural surroundings and gives excellent access to African wildlife and fauna whilst ensuring a maximum degree of comfort and security. Situated high on a plateau which forms a natural boundary to the Zambezi National Park, it enjoys uninterrupted views and spectacular African sunsets.

Victoria Falls is just four kilometres away. From the on-site waterhole to the thatch finishes and local hardwoods, the theme of the safari lodge is one of human sensitivity to its natural surrounds. The conference centre, private boardroom, card room, Makuwa-Kuwa restaurant, Buffalo Bar and outdoor amphitheatre reflect the same sensitivity to the natural surroundings.

The outdoor Boma, Place of Eating, gives you another superb restaurant to choose from. Using our own vehicles and boats, our qualified guides take you walking, driving and on river safari into an African extravaganza. All bedrooms at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge have a private balcony looking across the watering hole in the national park and are equipped with binoculars and nature books.

The nature library, set in the apex of the thatched roof further enhances your African experience. Regular entertainment features ethnic theatre and music, slide shows and presentations.

The Boma - Partially open to the African skies and sheltered by the indigenous Gusu forest lies the award winning Boma restaurant. This offers a unique African experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa - together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people. Specialising in a superb selection of traditional Zimbabean dishes, fish, a variety of game meat and potjiekos (hunters stew) - as well as vegetarian meals - diners are invited to sample such ethnic delicacies as deep fried kapenta and groundnuts.

Traditional customs, such as local beer tasting and pre-dinner handwashing, are observed while the sights and sounds of the evening are accentuated by Ndebele performers who captivate diners with their vibrant and energetic songs and dance. Steeped in mystery, a witchdoctor adds a touch of drama and after dinner guests are invited to wile away the evening with the restaurants sangoma - a traditional story teller - to learn more about the countrys folklore, culture and heritage.
